Internal Tube Cutters

CUTS 3/4” & 1” O.D. FINNED AND PRIME SURFACE TUBES IN 1-1/2 REVOLUTIONS

The Miller Internal Tube Cutters, Series ITC, are designed to internally cut finned and unfinned non-ferrous tubes. These cutters are light, fast, rugged and capable of severing tubes in 1-1/2 revolutions.

Operation

Adjust the cutter blade so its tip is even with the side of the driver. Set the depth positioner to the desired depth. Chuck the tool into a heavy duty 1/2” reversible drill motor and set the drill to turn to the right (clockwise). Insert the tool into the tube and hold it firmly forward against the depth positioner. Press the trigger. On the first half revolution, the blade will dig into the I.D. of the tube and will rip the entire tube wall as the next full revolution is completed. Twist the tool to the left (counter-clockwise) and remove it from the tube.
